The 2017 Senior Fair premium book is now online. Please click the “Entries” tab of this website to access the premium book. Copies of the book will not be back from the printer until the end of May. Please join our text messaging program by texting “LCFAIR” to 36000 to receive a text message when the premium book is available to pick up in the office.

Season and Membership Passes are now on sale for the 2017 fair. Each pass gives you seven admissions to the fair. The Membership Pass comes with voting privileges. Please see the “Gen Info” tab for more information.
NOTICE OF VACANCY – BOARD OF DIRECTORS
The Lorain County Agricultural Society is seeking candidates to fill the position of Fair Board Director for a one-year term ending November 14, 2017. Due to Constitutional restrictions, candidates can only be considered residing in the original townships of Amherst, Avon, Black River, Brownhelm, Carlisle, Columbia, Eaton, Elyria, Grafton, Penfield, Ridgeville, Rochester, and Sheffield. Interested candidates must send a letter of interest stating the township they reside in, a resume including phone number, and a copy of their Driver’s License or other acceptable form of identification to: Executive Board Committee, 23000 Fairgrounds Road, Wellington, OH 44090. All letters of interest must be received no later than 3:00 pm on Thursday, December 22, 2016. The candidate selected will have to submit to and pass a BCI&I and FBI criminal background check.
Fair Board Officers for 2017 were elected at the Annual Meeting of the Lorain County Agricultural Society on Tuesday, November 8, 2016. The following Directors have been elected to the Executive Committee: Brian Twining – President; Rick Ternes – Vice-President; Kim Meyers – Immediate Past President; Craig Norton – Executive Committee term expires 2017; Dan Linden – Executive Committee term expires 2018; Joe Buchs – Executive Committe term expires 2019.
The Lorain County Agricultural Society will again sponsor a Night at the Races to raise monies to continue to make improvements to our fairgrounds. The last two years’ profit went towards our new EMS & Veterans Building. Please see the “Night at the Races” tab for event information and sponsorship opportunities!
